Founded by Shruthi Ajay
I’m Shruthi Ajay, and my journey into entrepreneurship has been shaped by over 15 years of experience in the market research industry. Guided and supported by my husband who also comes from the same field we both shared a long-time dream of building something of our own.
Over the years, we started several businesses by saving up small amounts and investing everything we had. Each time, we gave our best, but due to various challenges, those ventures didn’t last beyond a year. Still, we never gave up.
One of our most ambitious ventures was in a rural place, where we introduced a unique concept: A salon and boutique under one roof, aimed at providing city-style services in a small-town setting. Although it was a fresh idea, the business faced setbacks and ran into losses for more than two years.
But our passion never faded.
Finally, I took a leap of faith and launched Astha Designer Boutique my own brand, built from scratch. As a commerce graduate with no formal background in fashion, this was a bold step. I entered the world of fashion with zero technical knowledge, but with 100% passion, commitment, and a desire to create something meaningful.
